Sandman

Her ocean is vast and on its surface tiny men in tiny boats dream.

They dream of green grass under stripper poles. They dream of scaling buildings, then jumping off with eyes closed, missing all the beauty they’ve passed by.

They dream of only things their eyes can see and their hands can touch. Things that lie on her surface.

They venture out on her surface, thinking that by leaving her land they’ve taken a risk. The creatures that live, in the beautifully dangerous, and dark deep, watch. They sometimes visit the tiny men, but curiosity kills. How does a tiny man on a tiny boat handle creatures they’ve never been able to dream of?

From her ocean she gives life. From her ocean she gives love. From her ocean she flourishes.

From her ocean he sees things he’s never seen before. From her ocean he feels things he’s never felt. From her ocean he dreams. If he could only dive in, just once.

Her ocean is vast and on its surface tiny men in tiny boats dream.
